On April 3, 2012 a team of PAO members from Woodstock put on a pickleball demonstration at the Woodman’s Community Centre in
Brantford.   The demo was part of the OSGA program spearheaded by Doris Henhawke. Players attended from the Hamiltion area to partake in the social event which included refreshments and a talk about the Ontario Senior Games. The new PAO banner was prominently displayed as team leader
Eric Kendall made a presentation about the history of pickleball and the rules of the game. The role of the PAO in promoting pickleball across
Ontario was also mentioned.
After a demonstration new players tried the sport with assistance from instructors. Seasoned players took to the other three courts for some great games of pickleball.

Thanks go to Eric and his team – Scott Revell, Carol Bossenberry and Nancy Alway for travelling to Brantford and putting on this demo. Thanks also to Doris Henhawke and the people at Woodman’s for their hospitality.
